Effectiveness Using Expository and Inquiry Learning Method’s on Students’ Ability Text Story

This study aims to describe the comparison of application expository learning methods and inquiry ability students class VIII on material element story formers. The population were grade SMPN 4 Kota Langsa which amounted 204 spread in nine classes. sample research is 43 by taking 2 classes that are VIII-1 VIII-5. method used experimental method. data was collected through test technique processed using statistical formula. design Pretest - Posttes Control Design Group. Based results both learning, use lerning can improve student outcomes. evidenced from result t-test Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <α (0.05). From percentage pre-test post-test value, Class Expository has increased 20% 26%. Judging presentation, better improving outcomes especially forming elements.Keywords:
